ines di santo is a super talented dress designer here in toronto.  john, from grace ormonde’s wedding style magazine, introduced us to her daughter veronica di santo and we were sooooooooooooo lucky to be able to shoot two of her bridal gowns in italy.  thank you veronica!!!  the two dresses were absolute luxury.

check out her awesome dresses and the location to die for.  side note (freakout factor=10). dolce & gabanna shot in this very same lobby last week!  

the location secured for the shoot was none other than hotel the gray.  check out the credentials for this five star…

we met kristjan in nyc for karen & brent’s wedding (click here to go back to their wedding). kristjan is karen’s hair stylist here in toronto so why go with anyone else for the big day??? good thinkin’ karen! along with us, she flew him in just for the event.

kristjan is a hair stylist for civello/aveda and he is seriously amazing. he was way too modest to tell us any of this while we were chatting, but for this post i decided to google him and wham-o… look at this impressive resume:

his work has appeared in teen vogue, fq, and fashion magazines. he has worked behind the scenes for canada’s next top model, and has appeared on-air for entertainment tonight, mtv, ytv, muchmusic.

to brides everywhere, if you can possible get him… do it. do not hesitate, just book him!

i just wanted to say how awesome it is to be working with some of the best vendors in the industry.  we shot steph + daves wedding last week at king valley golf course with luis.   luis from images weddings travels all over the world documenting events through videography.  images weddings has offices based out of toronto and new york.

at so many times during the day we commented on how nice it was to work with luis because he takes an unobtrusive and candid approach. i really love the fact that they are still using 8 mm film to create that old classic look.  

thanks again luis for making the day that much more of an experience.

mike was voted 2007 dj of the year and also recently asked to be on graydon hall’s vendor list!  congrats mike!  

i am beyond excited to announce that as of april 2008 we are officially 5 star status in grace ormonde’s wedding style magazine.  if you are a bride, you have heard of it, if you are not a bride, you have probably still heard of it. 

to quote the magazine, grace states:   “The Platinum List is not an open advertising section. Vendors have been asked to participate by special invitation only, and have been chosen for the style of their work and the quality of their service in their geographical location.” 

the magazine is by invitation or referral only.  thanks to our wonderful, amazing, kind friend mike colon who put a good word in for us, the magazine checked us out and we are now listed as a 5 star vendor.  for all your kindness and generosity mike… thank you a gazillion times over.  check out mike’s site at www.mikecolon.com  i took a workshop with mike two years back and i will tell you first hand, it has 100% revolutionized our business.  he is a fabulous guy + an amazing marketing guru!!!
