are you ready?  ready for some amazing, wicked cool – totally out there photography?  this engagement shoot was totally fun.  life-size dinosaurs attacking the couple?  oh yeah… scroll…

the day started out with some toronto engagement photography with peter & tasia. a cute fun lovin’ pair of dentists!  the royal ontario museum was the first stop.  we have shot there many times now but it never gets old.  great architecture always makes for interesting engagement photos (well, wedding photos too – anything really!)

ha ha ha!  peter gave it a full effort when alex told him to jump!

aw man, i love this next one and the way the lines lead your eyes out of the photograph. and the way their heads mirror the triangle.

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!  here it is!  out of no where this huge scary dinosaur starts attacking this brave couple.  alex had to fight him off with his 70-200 (big fat camera lens).

they tried to get away but he almost had them in his terrifying teeth!

aw, as it turns out all he wanted was a hug.  graciously the couple obliged and the scary dinosaur went on his way to terrorize another unassuming couple.

“i’m the king of the wooooooorld” he shouted as he held his damsel close to his side.

a little relaxation was in order so they stopped for a drink at a small cafe.  great backdrop eh?  i want to blow this one up huge and put it in our house.  i love the yellow!  is that weird to have someone else’s photo in your house?

this is totally them.  this photo is like what i thought all their photos would be.  fun and playful – but i was so happy to see them push themselves a bit further and don’t you think the close & intimate ones are just beautiful too? when we first met these guys, we talked for like 2 hours!  we just chatted about details of the wedding and what our hobbies are and really just got to know a little bit about eachother.  it was so wonderful and instanly we knew we were gonna have fun with these two.

as the sun started to set, alex was able to capture some really dramatic shadows.

and as night started to fall… well… things got steamy!  the best part of this shot is that this couple is so adorable, so “cute” so “nice” that i never thought they would pull off a photo like this.  but you know what?  they totally did and they look smokin’ hot!  they are workin’ the camera people!  alex just turned the light on their car for a really cool backlight and wham-o.
