wow, where do i start for this one???  yesterday we had the honor of presenting graphistudio’s new software at the doubletree hotel in toronto.  a-ma-zing.  a record breaking 100 participants made toronto graphistudio’s highest turn out yet!!!  thank you to every single photographer who came out to see graphistudio, joe buissink and ourselves.

as always, joe buissink had the whole place in tears.  joe is an amazing photographer who is always inspiring photographers to “play” and continue to love photography even if it is a full time job!  he showed us his images from russia, stunning… his images for a book he is working on about autism, touching… and his images from christina agulara’s wedding, impressive!  he encouraged us all to give back to our community in any way we can.  what a great message.  photographers have a unique opportunity to offer a skill to people in need.  use it!  thanks for reminding of that joe.

just before i went on stage to present the software, i was catching up with an old photographer friend named ian who showed me his first graphistudio sample album.  it looked awesome but when i asked him how long it took him to design it, he told me one month!!!  one … month???????  that is crazy!  how will you ever make a profit wasting all those hours designing???  anyway, i was really happy to share this software with people like ian who can finally get things under control and start living life again (not stuck behind a computer).  i walked away really pleased that i was able to help people – after all, that is what life is all about right?

here’s a quick snapshot, that someone else took for us, of the ever so sweet michelle & lisa.  they are people that when you first meet them, you feel like youhave known them your whole life.  wow, what genuine people and we are soooo happy to be able to put faces to the names over at graphistudio!  mike who is our actual representative for canada was sadly missed.  get well soon mike!

ps – look at the difference in alex’s head compared to mine?!?!?!  is mine small or does he have a ridiculously large cranium???  comment…
