wppi has been such an amazing experience. being part of wppi has been such an integral part of lifeimages’ growth, through networking and learning each year in las vegas (huge photographers conference) and every year it just gets better and better! meeting and hanging out with some of the most amazing wedding and portrait photographers in the world – wow. photographers from all over the world come to wppi each year so if you are a photographer here in toronto or if you are in antarctica, you gotta go.
anyway, the print competition results are back and i am thrilled to show you a few winners!
last year while in vegas, the lifeimages team headed out to the dessert to just look around and take a few pics. thanks to brigitte and tom for giving me such a killer engagement photo (even though i was super sick that day)! well i am glad we took this one because it won first place for the engagement photography category!

this was an awesome wedding moment with lisa! i was taking photos of lisa and her mom when she just started to cry. i always love these wedding moments that just unfold as we go. this image took third place in the “bride or groom alone” category!

just like a kid sometimes, i like to play around a bit on a wedding day. it’s always fun to create random detail shots… especially with hot pink bridal shoes! lizzie thanks for having a great sense of style!

thanks olympia for rocking out the old school outfit. and chris if you are reading this it was awesome hanging out that day, thanks for teaching me about keno lights. boudoir old hollywood style! we rented this costume from a clothing company in toronto.

thank you dajana and lucas for being an awesome wedding couple!!! we were trying to go for a dramatic wedding photo… do you think we got it??? (wink)

we were so happy to have stumble on such an interesting wall. i love architecture. sometimes i see beauty and it’s perfect for close up texture or detail. other times i see amazing geometric shapes and design that are great for backed up landscape shots or something 3/4 length. there is so much in this world to learn and discover. i still can’t believe how many wedding and engagement locations there are in toronto, mississauga and oakville. our world is so amazing.

classic black and white portraiture, with a hint of editorial. this is my good friend dick. he is a cancer survivor and is happy to be alive! after every conversation, i am always so amazed at his outlook on life. he lives on this boat year round.

i look back on all these images and it makes me think about all the people that i was able to meet and hang out with this year. thank you to each one for being part of creating award winning photography! it is a team effort always and i appreciate that you enable me to create art. you make me a passionate wedding photographer, an enthusiastic portrait photographer and a humbled documenter. be it any of those events, i am honored to have been a part of your life. thank you for letting me into your world.
as always, thank you wppi for this great honor.
Congratulations! I love #2! Well I love them all!
See you in Vegas 2010!
Thank you for sharing your talent with us! I am always amazed at what your eyes see.
