it was so exciting to receive our wppi awards in the mail today!!!  first of all i love getting mail and secondly, we weren’t in vegas to accept the actual award so it now feels real!  this year we won first place for the 16×20 wedding detail, 3rd place for non-wedding photojournalism + 5 awards of excellence.  alex is totally honored to have won these awards and being a aprt of such a great community of photographers makes this job such fun.

being toronto wedding photographers, i have to say, it felt good to represent canada over there with all our american friends!  it feels incredibly rewarding to see your name beside some of the greatest photographers of our time – guys that have been doing this for 15-20 years!  it is so cool that those guys still enter and they are still lovin’ the game. i think that is why we enter, to stay creative, stay interested and stay involved.  rubbing elbows with other passionate photographers can only encourage even more success and happiness – true?
