you might wonder, after so many weddings in a row and engagement sessions back to back, doesn’t alex ever get tired of this? doesn’t he ever run out of ideas? doesn’t it ever get boring? nope!
we are about 1/2 way through the summer and to be honest, the engagement sessions are a refreshing way to keep the summer months filled with variety. not one is the same because each couple is so different! our couples are so great – we really do have the best clients in the world – i am sure of this!
rachelle & rory are no exception. alex just had so much fun photographing these guys. they were full of life and laughter. well hey – they are in love and they are engaged!!!! wooo hooo!
so on a beautiful august afternoon, here’s what alex (and our beautiful couple) came up with:

peter and tassia. all we knew about them when they booked was they were both dentists is toronto. after only about 4 minutes of chatting, we found they were a delightful couple with lots of hobbies and unique interests. instantly they intrigued me. alex and i chatted over coffee with these two beautiful people and by the time we parted ways i felt like i had known them forever. that was a year ago and we have been looking forward to this wedding ever since.

anyway, back to the wedding. tassia is waiting to get out of the limo to finally marry the man of her dreams…

downtown toronto is amazing for summer wedding photos, just walking around and found cool locations.

arcadian court is one of those venues that just seeps with class and elegance. totally the perfect venue for peter and tassia’s wedding reception. here’s a few detail shots before any of the guests came in…
beautiful, tall floral centre pieces by la belle that added drama to each table and an amazing 3 tiered wedding cake by victoria parent.
the bride & groom’s grand entrance and first dance. always a beautiful moment.
after dinner we always try and sneak the couple away for just a few last evening shots.
i have to got say, this last shot is one that doesn’t come around too often and alex was so excited to be able to capture the whole building.
peter and tassia, from the moment we met you both, we fell in love with you and were so excited about this wedding. we hope it was all you had ever hoped for and more!!!
