alex came back to the studio all happy & excited to show us all these photos of christina, george & mya.  they are expecting baby #2 so what a perfect time to do a family portrait + maternity photo session!  we have had the rare honor of photographing christina when she was pregnant with mya, then newborn photos, then mya’s baptism in toronto and now, baby #2 while still in the belly.  how special is that?  we have seen this little family grow and blossom & enjoy the fullness of life together.  man i love our job!

isn’t little mya a little pumpkin?  she was in such a great mood, so giggly & wiggly!  good thing alex likes to shoot on the run!  she was all over the place! (but what kid isn’t)?

and mommy christina was in a great mood too, showing off her baby belly in style. work it, work it!

i have to admit, there’s nothin’ like a classic black & white maternity photo.  they funny & crazy ones are awesome but a simple belly shot will always help the mom-to-be remember those 9 full months of waiting, wishing, wanting and more waiting!!!  

cool reflection huh?  alex is all about the reflections lately.  just a little something different to keep it fresh, ya know?

oh sweet pea, I love these next photos of little mya doing her thang.  when does a kid ever get permission to stick her tongue out and be silly?!?!?!  my absolute favorite is the last one in the third row down.  found it?  now, don’t you just remember belting out a huge laugh like that when you were a kid?  oh man, my sister and i used to just roll we thought we were the funniest things ever.  ahhh, the laughs when you grab your belly and throw your head back.  i love it.  when is the last time you laughed so hard it hurt?

i need more of those, don’t you?

ha! isn’t mya’s expression like, “hey where do you get off leaving me way up here while you get to cuddle & snuggle down there”?  

don’t you guys think there is something so special about daughters and daddies?  mya’s daddy’s little girl for sure in these next ones. biiiiiiiig kiss.
