if you are going to get married in the cold of winter, lisa & robin did it right!  the cozy, warm, intimate setting at the prince of wales hotel in niagara on the lake was perfect.  guest enjoyed horse drawn carriage rides while sipping bailey’s hot chocolates.  how great does that sound???

a little background info… poor lisa had to be rushed to the hospital the night before the wedding to treat the flu.  not just a little “cough cough” but serious, like she had iv’s in all night.  what a champion!  the day of the wedding she pulled up her socks (not literally) and said “cummon, let’s get married”.  she smiled and had a great time, you would never know she was sick.  wow.  inspiring what love can do!!!!!!

so here you go.  enjoy the luxurious, understated elegance of lisa & robin’s wedding…

awww, mom and lisa just minutes before the ceremony…

and dad proudly doing flower duty…

we snuck outside for two seconds.  ahhhhh, it couldn’t be any more than that, we were all freeeeeeezing!  but they don’t look it at all snuggled up & cozy!

hahaha, this next one is so funny… it was their idea to pose because they have the cutest little puppy at home that looks someone like the one in the photo so we were joking that was robin in the photo with a snazzy pullover sweater & hat.  they pretended not to be pleased at all.

that wall, by the way, is all copper and ridiculously detailed.  cool eh? and look at that frame!  i want to sell crazy ornate frames like that at the studio.  you think they would sell?

the cake cutting is a long time tradition. some couples can’t wait, others can’t even be bothered but do it for the sake of ceremony.  in either case, we always see the following scenario.  a crowd of people up out of their seats to take photos.  people love it!  long live the cake cutting!!!!

such an amazing wedding.  i know i have said it a gazzillion times before, but can i just say again how wonderful our clients are and how mach they make our job totally amazing.  we spent the entire day with a couple completely in love and compliment each other soooooooo wonderfully.  during the photos it was just the four of us (bride, groom, alex and myself) and we got to know these guys like we have known them forever.  what an honor on someones wedding day to be able to hang out with the bride & groom while everyone else waits!!!  thank you lisa & robin from the bottom of our hearts for making us feel like part of the family!  congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!
