woooo hooooo!  erin & andy are married!!!

we met erin about 4 years ago at a destination wedding we shot in the bahamas.  she was a bridesmaid at the time and now… a beautiful bride.  it was actually really nice having met erin previously, i felt like we were photographing an old friend’s wedding.

the amazing royal york hotel was perfect for erin & andy.  a fairly small wedding in terms of guests so it made for an intimate, understated, elegant ceremony.

after the couple said the official “i do’s” we went outside for some downtown toronto wedding photos.  a gorgeous dusk light with glistening streets after a light rain.  oh, so beautiful.  it was hard not to bust out in song “singing in the rain” as the dazzling couple held eachother tight under a streetlamp.  come on people… can you feel the love?!?!?!?

they always do a stunning presentation of the food over at royal york and erin chose to have small food stations around the room instead of a traditional sitdown dinner (which fit the day perfectly).  adorable little mini burgers and sweet potatoe fries along with roast beef & gourmet mushroom mashed potatoes.  it was all way too cute.  by the way, are you salivating yet??? 

over all, yep, we pretty much had an absolute blast.  thank you again erin & andy for having us as part of your day.
