the weather: beautiful.  it rained all week then pow… 30 degree gorgeous summer day - we ordered it just for you guys!  =)

the venue: graydon hall, one of the best

the bride: katherine… stunning!

the mood: elegant, light and breezy, evening ceremony & reception… perfect!

the nikon 10.5mm f/2.8 dx fisheye lens is so wicked for shots like this next one.  it is always crystal clear and such a cool difference than the everyday image.

i love this next one.  katherine looks gorgeous and the back of her dress is simply stunning.  an open back with classic lace done by jealous bridesmaids (bloor west village) was one of the most perfect dresses i have ever seen.

and her flowers went perfectly with the simple theme of the wedding.  an untraditional orchid arrangement but some how perfectly traditional looking being so simple and white.  katherine you have impeccable taste girl!  flowers by posies (karina lemke).

i never ever get sick of weddings.  period.  this is my favorite part, the recetional.  it is always such a relief of emotion for the bride & groom.  ”we did it” they say as they smile at everyone clapping.  i love it ever single time!

graydon hall is amazing for so many reasons but this next photo just made me think of one more.  there is texture everywhere.  the walls have a textured paisley pattern paired with elaborate, ornate candle holders made the backdrop great for the cake shot.  textured tablecloths just added even more umpf that completed a great shot.

since the wedding was about 80 guests in total, katherine wanted to get a photo of everyone.  we suggested our little photo booth set up.  it was perfect!  here’s a few of people just having fun with it!

another stolen moment only this time it was uncle bob catching a few z’s on the oversized sofa!  this my friends is what makes our job so fun.  capturing moments that the bride and groom rarely get to see with all the busyness of the day.
